Health checks & peace of mind
VBE Restorations offer servicing and health checks to keep your car in top driving condition — including road-testing and mile-clocking, which contribute to a healthy vintage vehicle.
We are also advocates of MOT testing. Although not a legal requirement for vintage cars, having an MOT completed by an outside agency is a good way of making sure the car is legally roadworthy. These services are good practice for the cars — and peace of mind for their owners.
Restored, strengthened or new
VBE Restorations can restore any vintage chassis frame to its original condition. Strengthening, as well as shortening or lengthening to original dimensions, are within our remit — and a completely new chassis frame can be produced to exact dimensions from original drawings.
We can supply all individual chassis components and can re-temper and re-set original leaf springs. Springs can be string-bound like the works competition cars, or fitted with newly made Wefco leather gaiters — all carried out according to your personal preference.
